We are simplifying our ranks. There will be no more Class Captains, Artisans or Apprentices. We are introducing:

Raiders and Squires! Those who raid regularly and show determination to better their gear for the progression of our guild. Raiders will have more access to the bank, periodic access to repair with guild funds. Squires will also have more access and with the right dedication will be promoted to Raiders shortly.

We now have two special ranks! These ranks are reserved for the most valiant of the valiant of OL. The Knights and Heroes will have demonstrated the utmost care for the guild's values and morals. These members will show helpfulness when there is need, show leadership when none are leading and be kind when it feels like all are evil.Heroes will be the exalted of the Knights and be able to invite new members and have a few more privledges.

OL, founded 3 years and 4 months ago, still takes for granted the same ideals that built our foundation. These ideals have kept us together and growing. Friendships have been forged and some have become stronger than stone. We will keep this tradition strong by following these values everywhere:

Blizzard announced at BlizzCon the next expansion to World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. This expansion is unique in that for the first time, we are not going to a new continent--instead, Blizzard is sending us to revisit the old world. Things will be forever changed--many of the old zones have changed in dramatic ways, and the phasing system first seen in Northrend will be used throughout the old world to actually modify the terrain as we progress through the story. Also for the first time, and to the relief of many people, you will be able to use your flying mounts in Azeroth!

Optimus Luminarium and Eternal Knight have formed a raiding alliance to do 25-man raids.  The screenshot above is our first joint raid where we downed Sartharian with one drake up.  If you would like to join in, check the in-game calendar for raid signups as well as here on the forums.

Members: We had several recruits to promote to member.  Congratz Denaris, Sardras, Kneq, Fires, Wymortis, and Lovegame. ************** Artisans: As a guild we have many people needing crafted items.  Those players that have leveled their skills and obtained special recipes and schematics are often in high demand.  Glamorious has worked hard to max out his cooking, often providing us buffs and feasts in our raids.  He is now our guild cook and Anklebiters is officially our new guild Alchemist. ************** Class Captains:   Congratz to Duncann, our new Mage Class Captain, Erikthered our new Pally Class Captain, and Myrallia  our Priest Class Captain. ************** Veteran: Lastly, we had the opportunity to promote one of our members.  It is an honor to have Tarfoth to join the rank of Veteran in our guild!

"It is time for another OL PvP tournament! Everyone really enjoyed this last time we did it, so we are doing it again.

The event will take place Saturday June 13 starting at 5:30 server. We will start with our low level duels and go in order from lvl 1 to lvl 80. The event will take place at the Human starting area in Elwynn Forest, so please make sure to move your characters there ahead of time if necessary. " - Lyxon

This month we had three new members to promote.  Duncann, Eldacar, and Roflmobile are OL's newest full members. Welcome guys!

20 OL raiders and out-of-guild friends grouped up to tear through AQ40 and get our achievements.  Everyone that went earned that and got some neat different colored bug mounts from trash drops. Lyxon gained enough rep to get his:

Naxx Update This weekend OL raiders tore thorugh Naxx, clearing all four wings and downing 3 new bosses.  The Friday night raid went especially well as we managed to accidentily clear the heroic mode trash with only 10 people. We finished the raid up Monday night up with the Construct Quarter, taking out Grobbulus, Gluth, and Thaddius for the first time, and we also got some solid attempts in on Sapphiron as well. All Quarters Cleared!

 

 

10 Man Raiding: Vault of Archavon was cleared successfully on our first attempt and is now on farm along with Sartharian. New bosses in Naxx have been  downed putting us close to halfway  clearing it!
