New Kara Boss!

Pick up this quest from Lights Hope Chapel:
Neutral[Chamber of Secrets]

Head to Kara, clear Attuman, and head up the stairs past the repair guy
to find the boss!  As soon as you open his door, the event starts.  You
can check out the strategy here.

Killing him will give every member of the raid a bat vanity pet, 2 badges,
a chance at a nice axe and a Monster Slayer's Kit from the quest
reward.  The new boss will be around until November 1st.

Brewfest!

Through October 4, Brewfest is a time to enjoy the fermented fruits of the harvest: pretzels, cheese, and booze! The competing breweries Thunderbrew, Barleybrew, and the Ogres, all come together outside of all the major cities in a bid to outdo each other with their special ales, meads, and beers. Brave adventurers are invited to sit back, take a pull, and sample the finest wares these brewers have to offer!

Special Boss:   Coren Direbrew can be found in Blackrock Depths during Brewfest and takes up the daily quest, Neutral  [70 Daily]  Insult Coren Direbrew .  He drops mounts and nice trinkets similar to those attainable by 41-badges:
